Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)

In shipping, the estimated time of arrival of a ship is indicated with the abbreviation ETA. However, due to, for example, re-routing at short notice or difficult weather conditions on the high seas, the arrival may be delayed, so it is only an assumption.
