FOB - Free On Board

The exporter delivers the goods on board of a vessel in the previously agreed port or to a point of loading. He bears all costs up to this point. After completion of export handling, the importer assumes all costs incurred and also bears the transport risk. Neither party is obliged to take out insurance.
