Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

In many countries, Material Safety Data Sheets must be provided for certain substances and mixtures when they are imported. Safety data sheets contain all safety-relevant information and handling recommendations for the transported substances and mixtures. They serve to protect the environment and the persons who come into occupational contact with the substances. Appropriate measures are taken on the basis of the data contained, so the information contained must be complete and correct.

In order to inform purchasers of non-hazardously classified substances and mixtures about certain properties, safety data sheets are also prepared on a voluntary basis.
