PSS (Peak Season Surcharge)

The Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is a surcharge that is levied during the peak season in the transport business. This period often falls on months when shipping volumes are particularly high, e.g. before public holidays or shopping periods such as Christmas or Lunar New Year. The surcharge is charged in addition to the normal freight costs.
