April Celebrations: Availability of IFB Offices

The month of April is characterised by festivities and national holidays in many regions. During this time, the availability of our local colleagues is limited.

  • General Information

In April, public holidays are more frequent in many Asian countries - and for good reason. In countries such as Thailand and Myanmar, the traditional New Year is celebrated in this month, which usually involves several days of festivities.

Religious holidays such as the Buddhist New Year or Islamic festivals such as Eid al-Fitr (depending on the calendar year) also often fall in April. Christian Easter is also usually celebrated in April and is an important festival in Europe.

There are also national public holidays, such as the Qingming Festival in China. Many of these public holidays are firmly anchored in the culture and are accompanied by temporary business closures.

Please allow for possible delays in communication or processing during holidays and office closures.
