Our debut at the HafenCityRun

It was the team itself that came up with the idea to participate. One dedicated colleague took the initiative, organised everything and handled the registration — with great success! A total of 18 runners from various departments formed our running team, who started and crossed the finish line together. And were cheered on by colleagues along the course.

The day ended with a social gathering in the sunshine, complete with cold drinks, good humour, and a collective conclusion: We'll do it again!

What is the HafenCityRun?

It is an annual charity run held in Hamburg's modern HafenCity district every year since 2002. The focus is on team spirit, fun and social commitment rather than on achieving the best time. The 4-kilometre course winds through the architecturally impressive harbour district, passing sights such as the Marco Polo Terraces, the Westfield Überseequartier, and Hamburg's famous bridges.

A fixed amount of the participation fees per registered person and per registered team goes to the charity partner ‘Hamburger Abendblatt hilft e. V.’.

Why is social commitment important to us?

As an international logistics group with roots in Hamburg, we recognise the importance of social responsibility. The HafenCityRun offered us the ideal opportunity to combine local engagement with team building, while supporting projects that have an impact right on our doorstep.

We are proud of our enthusiastic team and look forward to many more joint activities where we can make a difference.
